Sagehen Trail Clean-up & Campout

June 2-4, 2006

Around thirty members from the Emmett, Boise, and Mountain Home chapters showed up for weekend. It was a great turn-out.

Ray was in ecstasy as there were plenty of trees that had fallen across the trails and needed his expertise in chain saw work. We found out too that Bill was pretty darn good at carving using his chain saw. From digging trenches and diverting water to clipping brush and removing logs and brush everyone worked Friday and Saturday to get the trails cleaned-up. Then on Saturday evening everyone was rewarded with a fantastic bar-b-que put on by our famous cook Bev and her side-kick Tom. Thanks to everyone for bringing side dishes and desserts - what a spread and cleaning up trails. If you weren't there you missed a good one.
What a great weekend

Good food - good people - it doesn't get much better that...
